Since Amanda first began her watercolor journey she has been playing with metallic accents in her original work. Unfortunately, it is uncommon for standard printers to have the ability to replicate metallic in the printing process. Hand-embellishing her prints using acrylic has allowed Amanda to reintroduce this metallic component to her prints while also giving each piece a one-of-kind, hand-touched addition.

Inspired by the dahlia farms that sit perched in the shadow of Mt. Hood, this painting is one Amanda dreamed of for many years before finally completing it. Since arriving in Oregon over a decade ago and stumbling upon a dahlias at a flower booth at the Portland Farmer’s Market, they have been one of Amanda’s favorite flowers.

✨ Although not required, it is recommended that embellished prints be displayed in an area with varying natural light in order to accentual the metallic components.
✨ Print is 12×15 inches with a 1/2” white border around the edge. This print size is meant to be framed with a mat cut to 11×14
