Amanda Enneking
Amanda Enneking is the artist behind The Girl Let Go. Originally from Kansas, Amanda moved to Oregon ten years ago and has been deeply inspired by the state’s landscapes ever since. In her free time Amanda enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it be snowboarding, hiking for wildflowers, or paddle boarding one of Central Oregon’s many bodies of water, Amanda feels most at home among the mountains.
Despite a life-long obsession with art, Amanda didn’t start dabbling in watercolor painting until she was laid off from her corporate job amidst the pandemic. What started as a hobby quickly evolved into a passion for the medium’s unpredictable tendencies and a deep desire to share the Oregon landscapes she’s spent the past decade exploring. Small details, pattern-like designs, and a focus on color theory bring Amanda’s creations to life. However it is the support of her friends, family, and a deep need for creative expression that keeps Amanda painting.
