Inspired by the dahlia farms that sit perched in the shadow of Mt. Hood, this painting is one Amanda dreamed of for many years before finally completing it.
Since arriving in Oregon over a decade ago and stumbling upon a dahlias at a flower booth at the Portland Farmer’s Market, they have been one of Amanda’s favorite flowers.
