Amanda spent many childhood summers recreating in Colorado and later, after college, spent many weeks hiking and backpacking in the Uncompaghre National Forest. As such, it seemed appropriate that the second Colorado mountain she painted be one she spent many hours admiring. Much of this painting was painted “en plein air” in Colorado during a road trip to Ridgway, Colorado in the Summer of 2025.
✨ “Mt. Sneffels // Blue Lakes Pass” has metallic accent in the sky and moon. This subtle detail can be seen in varying types of natural light. It is recommended that this piece be placed in a location where some amount of natural sunlight is present ✨
Amanda uses a heavy mix of negative space combined with patterns and bright washes of color to create watercolor paintings that defy conventional techniques.
All original paintings arrive matted and framed with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
