Mt. Bachelor, a popular recreation spot in Central Oregon, along with the mountains that neighbor it, are the backdrop to many of Amanda’s most cherished memories. From early morning powder days at the resort to summer days spent paddle boarding on Cascade Lakes with Mt. Bachelor in the background. This mountain is one Amanda has spent countless hours admiring.
Here, Mt. Bachelor is viewed at sunset from Tumalo Mountain, a popular ski spot in the winter and viewpoint in the summer. Fireweed, a common wildflower in the West, grows abundantly in the foreground.
Amanda uses a heavy mix of negative space combined with patterns and bright washes of color to create watercolor paintings that defy conventional techniques.
This painting was completed over a series of two months and was finished in February of 2026.
All original paintings arrive matted and framed with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist included.
