New Year, New Website!

Shop No Name Lake

Welp, this little watercolor studio has officially survived it’s first year as a full-fledged business. I suppose calling this my “first year” in business is a bit inaccurate given that I’ve been quietly teaching myself how to run a creative side hustle since . . well, the pandemic.

But this was the first year I really put myself out there, began marketing my work, doing shows, and finally putting time and energy into my Etsy shop.

And now, I’m excited to announce I’ve finally launched my own website - welcome!

Although I will still keep my Etsy shop active, I’m excited to have a site that reflects me and my work more uniquely than an Etsy storefront ever could.

2026 Festivals & Markets

It’s officially that time of year where I begin planning my Summer Art Festival schedule 💛

This past year I participated in 10 art markets, and although they’re a lot of work to put together, my goal for 2026 is to double that number! I just simply have not found a better way to connect with all of you than in person.

I love learning what you like (and don’t!), what subject matter appeals to you, answer your questions, and just get to know those of you who support my work!

Just be warned, I’m a hugger 🤗

After my very successful market in Colorado last Summer, I’ve decided to branch out even more for 2026. While I won’t know what markets I was accepted into until late March, I’ve applied for markets in places as far away as Springfield, Illinois.

Luckily, this Midwest girl is excited to spend some time near family!

Colorado, Montana, Idaho, and of course, Oregon, are all on my short-list as well but only time will tell how the schedule will shake out.

But don’t stress - email subscribers will be the first to know as my Summer Market Schedule comes together!

New Works in Progress

Since Christmas I have started - and nearly completed, two new paintings! For a girl that’s currently working her “real job” six days a week, I’m pretty proud of that progress. Turns out the lack of snow in the Cascade mountains leaves me with plenty of time to paint.

I’ve also began painting in a larger format! While the above painting is in my standard 11x14” format, new originals will be 16x20 . . . or bigger! Speaking of, you can now buy prints up to size 18x24” on my website!

And for those of you who are really paying attention, you may be alarmed by the above photo and the fact that the painting is oriented horizontally.

Two of the biggest pieces of feedback I’ve gotten from in-person events: bigger paintings and different orientations. Ask and you shall receive 🤗

If all goes to plan, prints of these newest paintings will be available by mid-February. As always, email subscribers will be the first to know when new prints are in my shop!

As always, thank you for being here and following along on my creative journey. I am continuously amazed at the love and support I have received along my path as an artist and I 100% would not be here without people like you, cheering me on.
